Things to Do in Las Vegas This Week: Halloween 2026 Events (Oct 27 to Nov 2)
Halloween falls on a Saturday this year, so the whole week in Las Vegas turns into one long celebration. From Tuesday, Oct. 27, through Monday, Nov. 2, 2026, you can hit free trunk-or-treats at city and county community centers, the last nights of HallOVeen at Opportunity Village's Magical Forest, free costume-night entertainment under the Fremont Street canopy, AREA15's ScAREA15 party, two Golden Knights home games, and two free Día de los Muertos festivals to close out the week. It's one of the best weeks of the year to see how locals actually celebrate here, away from the Strip as much as on it.
Why this is a fun week to be in Las Vegas
- Halloween is on a Saturday, and Friday, Oct. 30, is Nevada Day, a state holiday, so a lot of locals get a long weekend.
- Most of the neighborhood events are free. City of Las Vegas and Clark County parks trunk-or-treats on this list cost nothing to attend.
- Day of the Dead gets two free festivals: the city's celebration downtown on Nov. 1 and Clark County's two-night festival on Nov. 1 and 2.
- Something for every crowd: kids' events in the early evening, all-ages fun at HallOVeen, and 18+ parties on Halloween night.
